Hi guys, just wondering what way this bearing goes on. Im guessing the flat part goes against the pressure plate, that would mean the entire housing turns, but what gets pressed on the center black ring or the top cover ring as they all turn.

The back is pressed on by the clutch fork
The center black ring is a bearing for the clutch spline
The front pushes on the clutch fingers to disengage the clutch
While your in there replace the Pilot bearing, it's in the back of the crank and keeps the clutch spline centered to the crank.
