Just purchased. Don't know the year but it is 4wd with a 3 point hitch and a belly mower. Looking for advice on oil, hydro fluid, coolant, filters and any other items you'd do to a new to you tractor that you're not 100% sure of.

FWIW, I'm a JD guy going to the dark side, or is it the light side. Anyway I'm going to have a ton of questions.

Just go through the first couple of pages here......you'll find my thread on filters/oil.......and other threads.

Look for a manual online.....if you cannot find one......email me and I'll send it.

Also, before you put a ton of money and effort into it......I believe the 6000's PTO is counter directional to modern implements.........ie.......tillers and rear mount mowers etc.....

I personally would not be interested in anything posted here.......just something to consider.

Also, look to the front PTO shaft coupler.........search google.......they cannot be replaced.......once it goes, it's gone. And now you will not be able to use a RMM unless you find a Kubota specific to the 6000, the are out there but hard to find.
Just so you know.

Leafy England....
just a update on the subject of mid mount mower fitment on b6000's , there is an option to power a mmm from a centre pto output on B6000's , its not on all variants though. To be sure, get underneath and have a good look at the gearbox front casing where the fwd shaft and main drive shafts exit the gearbox, if yours has the option the splines shaft will be visible near the base of the casing, may have a protective sleeve over it, eitherway you will see it, if you have that option.

i have it on a spare b6000 gearbox.
