Hey guys, just wanted to post for the records on my hard start issue, I had my B6000 over a year now, and it has always been hard to start. Would take along time to crank over and at times I would even have to shoot starting fluid down the breather to get it spinning fast enough to fire up. I replaced the battery, spun quicker but sill had the issue of a hard start. Finaly my starter crapped out so I bought a new one on ebay for 90.00. When It came in the mail I was supprised how big it was and questioned if it would actualy fit, sure enough it fit just fine, bit tight but fit. Its about 1/4 bigger than the old one. After I put it in, I proceeded to start the tractor, I was amazed at how fast the engine was turning over, and it fired right up!!! Im so happy, I was beginning to think I had to rebuild the engine. So this Is just a write up to inform people with a hard start, it may be a weak starter.
