Back ground on my B6000:

1) it has a mid mount PTO. One of the reasons I am thinking of a MMM
2) it has a big loader frame goes from front right to the rear wheel hubs
3) it has a backhoe that I prefer not to remove for a brush hog type mower if possible. It acts as a weight and hook up partially to the loader frame. I think the backhoe frame is a couple of inches lower than the loader frame.

I am looking at an MMM RCK48 for BX series tractors. I wonder if someone been through similar issues and can help me with some questions:

a) Will the RCK48 fit under a B6000
b) will the loader / backhoe frame be in the way of connecting to the MMM
c) can the hardware for BX be used to connect the MMM to the tractor? I assumed some simple parts have to be made or modified to make things work (the reason for posting to this forum)
d) how the lifting / lowering mechanism work and can I get it to work on B6000. I have searched places and found no clue on this.

Thanks a bunch!

I can not directly help you with your question of "will it fit", but by the time you have the hardware under there to attach it to...you will have almost no room to raise the deck.

Then you'll soon wonder why you went to all the effort.

I have a B7100, which has a MMM. It's real easy to get that deck hung up on almost any irregular mowing position. The deck has wheels and the height is adjusted by pins inserted to the upright support shafts on them. There just is not much room between the cutting height of the deck and all the way to the top.

It would be quite a picture to see you using your backhoe and loader combination to pick up your tractor to clear the MMM!

Thanks D2Cat!

Then I better get a small rotary. But as you know, because of the reverse PTO rotation of the B6000, it not easy to find one. Swapping the backhoe on and off would be a hassle too.

With the backhoe on, I can easily maneuver it out if stuck. With a rotary, I am not sure. That's why I want to explore the MMM route if at all possible.

Doe anybody know what the mid-mount PTO on the B6000 is really used for?
