In reference to the display Dan posted, remove the shield #15, remove pin #5 and #12, and I think the shaft is removable.
I don't have those parts as referred to ; In reference to the display Dan posted, remove the shield #15, remove pin #5 and #12. I just have a straight shaft from the transmission to the front differential with aan apparently broken dustcover axle boot style of cover over the U joint as the front differential. I already pulled that join connection apart and found splines ok wron but ok and could turn the front fifferential shaf by hand with no resistance.
