Just want to make sure the diagnosis is close. Oil is squirting out middle of the front axel at the bottom of the pin that holds the axel to the chassis. Is this a broken seal and what would the typical cost be for a fix. Live in newberg Oregon and mechanics are scarce.

thanks!

In each end of the front axle case there are 2 orings (3 and 20 on diagram) and a bushing in between them (2 on diagram). You may or may not need to replace the bushings depending on how much wear there is on them and the pin. Bad part is you have to drop the frame to get the pin out. If your mechanically inclined you can do it.

I am really good at taking things a part but not so great putting them back :) Thank you for the help! I am working on getting a mech out here, hopefully the repair wont cost more than the tractor, I love it, it is a great machine. Thank you again!

In order to get the axle pivot pin out on the model, it requires removing the front frame from the engine.
