B5100 (and others) Cylinder Cap Plug info

I need information on the cylinder cap plug for the lift on my B5100. The Kubota part number is 06311-25040. I have looked it up in my manual and through internet searches but nowhere does it state what TYPE of plug it is. I've seen on here where someone had a line plumbed into it for a plow lift or something.

I would like to know what the thread type is so that I can add a hydraulic line for a dump trailer.

I believe that is a 1/2" BSPT or British straight Pipe Threads. The male threads measure 0.812 diameter with 14 threads per inch. Jeff

Just in case you're interested for future use, thread pitch gauges from amazon or ebay are cheap and can help determine thread types and sizes, with assistance from a digital vernier (for folks like me with poor eyes)
