B4200 Shift Knob

I had to knock off my shift knob in order to replace the dust bellow. I need to adhere the knob back on the shift arm. Anybody have any thoughts on what to use - I'd like something that keeps it in place but allows me to pull the knob off in the future.

Super glue jell will work.

North Idaho Wolfman: thanks for the reply. I'm wondering if super glue may be too permanent given that I/someone may have to knock it off again.

One of the higher strength silicone gasket sealants would work well.

Super glue on plastic to metal contact only makes a semi permanent bond, and is easy to break.
