Hi All. My tractor has ran perfect for 7 years with no problems but now it has one and Im not sure what to try to fix. I put fuel in My tractor last week and used it Saturday to cut a field behind My house. It ran great. I put it in the barn and went out today to use it and it cranks but will not start. I looked at the fuel filter and it was almost black. I removed it and the stuff that was in it almost looked like gear oil. Smell was terrible. I cleaned it and put a new filter in and since I figured something in the fuel tank was bad I pulled the line off the lift pump and drained the fuel tank. Went up and put fresh fuel in it and still no start. Cracked all the injector lines and nothing. Fuel comes out of the lift pump but nothing at the injectors. Fuel shut off solenoid energizes with ignition on and I can hear it working but no fuel to the injectors. Tried it with throttle wide open and nothing. It only has 200 hours on it so I have a feeling the injection pump might be plugged up. Anyone have any ideas short of blowing a couple of thousand for a rebuilt pump? Thanks Guys. Skip

Algae, you need to treat your fuel, storage containers and all the components of the tractor.

One thing I have found that works great is Soltron, you can get it at Napa, or online, and maybe other auto parts stores.

If you can get it in the system it might clean out the injection pump without having to remove it.

I'll pick up some when I go to town. I'll try anything to save the injection pump. Thanks for the idea.
