Seems like it's starving for fuel or air. Bled injectors, then found a mouse nest in air filter canister. Just SURE that was the problem, but new filter didn't remedy. This model has plastic sediment bowl and paper filter. Took the fuel filter off and couldn't open the plastic sediment bowl to remove paper filter. How do you do that? So, I guess fuel filter COULD be the problem as there was a little debris in the bowl that I could see, but if that's not it, any other ideas?

Fuel filter, fuel lines, sediment in tank, usually one of those

B2910, you need a pair of needle nose plyers to pull up on the center of the plastic inner filter once you unscrew the plastic fuel bowl. Make sure to have the 2 replacement o rings on the new filter assembly.

Sometimes so much water will accumulate in the bowl that it will look like fuel. Dump out whatever is in there and make sure the sediment gets rinsed out.

Make sure your fuel/injector shut off solenoid is working correctly, that will cause that behavior.

Once you ensure you have fresh diesel in the tank, bleed injectors and you shoudl be good.
