B2650HSDC range l,M,H no t working

My B2650 is imobile. The L,M,H lever has no effect. It all started when I attempted shifting to H range from M. The lever linkage appears to be intact from my observation from under the tractor (in the snow at 0 degrees F). Am I looking at some serious repairs internal to the gear box ???

The problem turned out to be the pin that fastens the shifter linkage to the shaft going into the gear box..
