I have decided on the Kubota B series, the dealers around here only have the 2620,2650 and the 3350, none of the 29 are around size are around. Dang, I can't find a 2920 , the 3350 is almost $5k more than the 2650!

Is the 3350 worth the premium? Any other suggestions...

Thank Uou

It all depends on your intended uses for it. The B3350 obviously has more power and who doesn't need that? It will also have a slightly larger frame and weigh more. If you're using it to mow and push some snow, the B2650 may be fine. I was advised to buy a little more tractor than you think you need. But budgets are budgets. Maybe your dealer can scout around and find a B2920 so you can split the difference. Good luck.

MikeBo,
I have a 2920 and looking at moving over to a 2650 with a cab. My 2920 has served me well mowing the grass and plowing my gravel driveway. Now it's time to get in out of the VA weather (winter and Summer) and go with a factory cab. The local dealer tried to get me into a 3350, but I didn't feel I needed to send the extra $ for the HP, when my 2920 did a great job. So it looks like I may be going with a 2650.

I agree, just can't see the difference in price, I found a new 2920 but I just like the 2650 size and features better.

Before you pull the trigger get a price from Brady at Barlows. I got my 2920 from him and talking with him now about the 2650. He is a great honest guy, that has always been there when needed.

I have a couple other threads on the issue but I'll truncate it here

I bought a 3350 yesterday (have not taken delivery yet) and I'm seriously considering calling them Monday and requesting they send me 2650 instead. Sole reason...to stay away from the tier 4 crap specifically the DPF filter. 2650 doesn't require it but the 3350 does. I think long term it's gonna be a real pain in the butt and wallet. Just my .02. But depending on use I think it should be real consideration.

Deesil, I agree with you about the 3350 and the DPF issues. I discovered yesterday that the engine in the 2650 is the same engine that I have in my 2920, but for some reason the HP is rated a little less. However, I have not had any issues with my 2920, and I have had it for 5 years.

Now if the dealer can come closer to the number I looking to spend I'll be trading my 2920 for a 2650 with a factory cab! Did someone say heat, AC and no bees??? YES!
