The local deal was running a early bird special so I decided to take advantage of it and also have them do the 400 hour service. Got the tractor back after Christmas and had no need to use it for snow removal so it sat until today.
When to start it up and let it idle. Thats when I noticed it was leaking fuel, not a lot but a steady drip. It appears to be leaking from the bottom of the fuel tank. Hard to tell though because the tank is behind a piece of sheetmetal that separates the tank from the motor. Its a 2013-14 B2650.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Paul

I assume it is only leaking while running? If it is, open the hood and look for the small return hoses going to the upper edge of the fuel tank. One of them may be cracked, and would only leak while the engine is running.

Correct, it only leaks when running.
I’ll need to remove the sheetmetal firewall for a proper look.
Thanks

The dealer replaced your fuel filter…and in the process dislodged the return lines and now they leak.

This could very well be. Called them and let them know it did not leak when they picked it up. They came today to take it back the their shop. Said I should have an answer by this Friday. We’ll see what they have to say.

Another reason to do it yourself,or at least supervise the work being done.
Nobody cares more about your tractor than you do!
Good Luck!

While I agree I was a bit unsure about bleeding the fuel line. That along with time, I seem to be losing that battle!

Well the dealer called late yesterday and said that a rodent chewed on the return line. I am somewhat skeptical but…… I did find a mouse nest on top of the fuel tank close to the back.

Got my tractor and the damaged fuel return line back. Yes there is clear evidence that a mouse was chewing on the line.
