Hi all,

This is my first post here, I am contemplating purchasing a B2650HSDC.

I am curious if the cab doors can be removed easily?

I saw this thread that says yes
Thread 37371 (not enough posts to include a link)
but then no one explains how to, so that has me a little leary.

The summers here are fairly mild, but it can be pretty cold/windy during the winter months, so it would be nice to be warm in the winter and to also be able to enjoy the fresh air in the summer.

Also, how is the cab for durability, I have read that the glass scratches easily?

I do realize it is all tempered glass, but it is a tractor so I am hoping the cab has a little bit of toughness.

Thanks for any input.

I assume they mount similar to my L4060, but regardless they can’t be too much trouble to remove.
I personally would not remove my doors for several reasons:
I like the cool AC in the summer.
Risk of shattering the glass when removing.
Risk of shattering glass in storage.

You could go to an online parts place (ie: Messicks, Kubota) and check the exploded parts diagram to confirm what’s involved. Also check out the prices of cab glass!

Thanks! Now I have a resource for parts diagrams as well. Looks like it should be easy. 2 Pins and disconnect the strut.

Risk of shattering the glass is something to consider... looks like the door glass is $526 LH and $700 for the RH. Definitely better to keep it intact than buy new glass!

I thought they could be easily removed, but looking the other day it appears they are meant to be permanent.

I would bet that could come off, obviously they do if broken, but it seems too much hassle to do so from my brief look.
