So, I've been looking and reading for a while and 'think' I've narrowed down to these two. (I had originally been looking at the Bx2670, but have concluded that it might be too small for some of the loader work.)

The main differences that I can see are size, and some lifting capability (and cost). I'm looking to purchase the tractor with FEL and front mount snowblower to begin with and later add a mower.

I am curious if the 2650 is too big for mowing lawn. Also, can both machines be equipped with a grapple (third function valve)? Any other differences that I've overlooked?

Thanks.

The B2620 does not have the factory loader third function valve available.
That's one of the reason's I'm trading for the new B2601.

How much lawn are you cutting and how many obstacles are there?
Probably about 1.5 acres or so. Some of that is the lane way to the county road (400 yards), the rest is around the yard which has 4 outbuildings (currently), quite a few trees, and a 'rock fence' protecting the septic tank.

I mow 2 acres of my yard. With lots of obstacles. I'm on sandy soil. I found I wouldn't want to go much heavier than my B2620, but the 50 series is not that much more in weight or dimensions, so I would say you should be okay.

I avoid my septic bed. Bought a push mower for that.

erda....the new B2601 is the same physical size as the B2620, but has most of the goodies of the B2650 series.

It's on the Kubota Canada site, but not the U.S. site yet.
