I knocked this stump out of the ground today, with my Kubota B2601. This thing was pretty damn big. I almost couldn’t lift it on my carryall. I’m not sure how long that stump was there, but it must have been awhile. It didn’t take much at all with the fel of the tractor, to get it out. I would have never even given it a try, but I hit it on accident, while doing something else, and saw it move a little. It was very rotten. My neighbor is gonna try and burn it in his fire pit. I just thought I’d share.

It’s just a weird angle. It looks like a full tree from other angles but I have a hard to me stopping work, to take pictures. That’s the only picture I got.

Now that's a stump! Is that just half of it? Or funny shaped tree?

It’s the whole stump, it’s just kinda a weird angle. It’s a lot bigger than it looks in the picture.

The only reason I was able to get this stump out is that it must have been there for many years. It was very rotted and I was able to just dig under it and pop it right up. I’m guessing it had to weigh at least 1500 pounds. I could hardly pick it up with the carryall.

love my 2601!

never tried stump popping with it.. you definitely had it rotted enough to come loose or some soft dirt!

cause thats a big stump for the little tractor.

I wouldn't suggest using a FEL to remove a stump unless it's rotted and loose like this one was. To easy to damage your FEL. Lifting or prying at any angle can severely damage it
