Went to use the tractor to snow blow the driveway and got a no start. Starting checking the obvious and then checked the safety switches. Traced it to the pto engagement switch. Has anyone else had there engagement lever seize? Sprayed it with Krown and was able to get it fully operational. Thankfully didn't have to take it apart.

I've been using the read can of 'RustCheck' on the SSQA levers and 'everything' else that's supposed to move a bit. Maybe keeps water from freezing inbetween 'stuff' ??
All I know is so far ,so good.....

I have sprayed all the lever controls as they enter the transmission or anywhere else with Fluid Film.
It is a bit like the 3 point hitch control, when not used or exercised it gets sticky or worse seizes.
Glad you got it working.

Thanks for the tip. I did not know until your post that WD-40 made a gel lube. I have been using a spray chain lubricant so it stayed on whatever I needed lubricated with a persistent film. I am going to try that WD-40 Gel product next.
