I just bought this B2550 snowblower and am fabbing it to fit my B7100HST. I'm really hoping someone here has an owners manual for it? I've got the brackets all set so the subframe is physically bolted to the tractor and I tossed the old 3pt hitch linkage setup to lift and lower it. I have hydraulic parts off an old single stage kubota I'm goign to fab up to fit. I have mounted the rotater handle mount and made a plate for the valve to bolt which is now welded to that mount. Here's a few pics. My other question is this blower came with a shaft to hook to the mid-pto but it has the quick connect style end and my tractor doesn't support quick connect it takes a pin. Has anyone ever run across that situation and if so what did you do to fix it?

In the picture the blower is chained in the up position because I don't currently have a way to lift it and I need the service bay back.

You could get a yoke that fits your tractor and change out the yoke on the shaft. Not too hard to do, just take the u-joint apart. The other thing you could do is search for an adapter that will pin on to your shaft that has a male end that will take a yoke with a quick coupler. The only thing with that solution is it will add some length to your tractors shaft and might be a problem if the blower shaft doesn't have enough movement to become shorter.

believe me i'm no stranger to u-joints but these didn't look serviceable to me. They caps were raised and flat up out of the yoke. I'll take a pic tonight. The ones on my mower deck (i was gonna steal the yoke from it) look like regular ujoints with the clip.

Did you ever get a chance to take pictures of your u-joint?

Nah, I'm just gonna grind a spot on the splines of the pto shaft for the quick coupler balls to seat into. It'll be fine.

You likely have this issue covered as you seem to be quite knowledgeable but I mention it out of an abundance of caution.

Make certain whatever drives the blower is turning in the correct rotation.

Some who have mounted a rear blower on the front of their tractors suddenly found they had a blower turning in the wrong direction.

Wayne I just finished putting a B2650 Snowblower on my B7100 HST and Messicks was very helpful. If you send them and email, they'll provide you with a parts brake down for your blower.
They also provided with the hydraulic cyl for my front mount.
As far as I'm concerned they're the BEST at providing customer service. My local Kubota dealer is good but....Messicks and their web site is GREAT!
Hope this helps.

You mentioned you tossed the old 3 pt hitch set up. Did you ever use it that way? I have a post today trying to figure out how to hook that part up of this blower.

This thread is 3 years old.

Looks like originator hasn't been back since May 2016.....I wouldn't wait up for an answer....;)
