B2400 tach cable

I've searched the forums, and I can't seem to find my answer, so I'll post it. I bought a used B2400 about 2 months ago, and the tach never worked. Finally got the time to tear into it and not only is the tach cable not working...it's not there!

Can anyone tell me where on this tractor the cable goes on the engine side? I can't seem to find any opening on either side, and with no old cable to trace, I'm currently SOL. Any help is appreciated!

Go to kubotausa.com and look for illustrated parts lists.
Enter model info and you can find the part number and location.
