Steering has full assist to left all the time. To go straight, I have to fight to hold the wheel in position. Turning right takes a lot of effort, as I'm fighting the power assist to the left.
Is there an internal valve that is defective? I only see a pressure line going in, and a return line coming out.

For now, I took the pressure spring at the pump out just so I can finish cutting the grass. results in no power assist, but at least it doesn't pull left.

Anyone know what might be going on? Thanks.

I gave it another try today.... Put the pressure regulating spring back in at the pump and did some field mowing for 90 min. It wasn't pulling to the left until the end, and it was just barely noticeable then.
I still don't have full power assist, only about half?
Action is not smooth and sometimes jerky.

I just bought this B and don't have a workshop manual yet.
Thought I'd try a fluid/filter change first. Then maybe check pressure.
If that doesn't help, I guess I'll disassemble the steering box and see what's what.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Fixed.
Removed and disassembled the valve assembly from the top of the steering box and found one of the four pistons was stuck in the bore. Honed the bore with some 600 grit, reassembled, and mowed a field. It's working great with full power assist! MUCH nicer to drive now!:D
