Hi everyone,

I am a proud owner of a used bought Kubota B2050.
I have recently being paying more attention to the tractor details and there are a few things that I think should be in better shape.

The most relevant one and the one that I don't know how to fix is the range of the 3 point lift.
The lifting itself seems to go from lowest to highest position, although it only starts to lift when control is already in 4.5 out of 8 positions.

For the sake of more control I would like to make the tractor to control the lifting immediately from the 1 position to the 8 and not just to be usable from half range up.

Does anyone in the forum has a clue what could be wrong and how to fix it ?

Regards

Mine on my L3301 behaves similarly on the lift. I have more control when lowering. I've never really bothered to do much about it as it suits my needs - but I have a knob to adjust the lowering rate, I think it may affect that.

Not sure about your tractor, but I would check your user manual for a similar control. If you don't have one perhaps you can find it here

First place to start is the feedback rod between the rock shaft and the hydraulic valve system.

Inspect for loose/disconnected linkage and wear.

Hi, Do you like your L3301? Would you buy one again?
We are looking to buy one for our horse ranch.

It's served me rather well, yes I would probably buy one again. Or I might consider a 3901 - same thing just a little more power (in fact it's the same manual). But yes I'm happy with it.

Welcome to OTT!

Position control on a 3-point hitch (3PH) relates to setting/limiting the lower position of the 3-point, so that you can get to the same bottom height each time the 3 PH is lowered.

If it's set at 3, it will stop at 3 each time the 3PH lowers. It won't go below that.

Position control does not control when or how the 3PH raises.

As long as the 3PH operates normally otherwise, it sounds like your tractor is doing what it should.

There is no "fix" to the issue.
