afternoon all. I have read some really good threads on here but none seems to answer my dilemma. i was born and raised on a farm so i have some knowledge of these things but this one has me stumped. my 1750 with belly mount mower works well for about the first 30 minutes then it won't climb a grade. tranny whines terrible. it won't move at all in high when the mower is running. it has gotten progressively worse over the last few years. i change the hyd oil and filters faithfully, the screens on both sides are cleaned (replaced both last year), the control lever is positioned properly, the clutch is good (so good it stalled the tractor when a piece of monkey vine got wrapped). the oil and transmission will get so hot you can fry an egg. I'm thinking it is the charge pump but I would like some opinions. also, if the popular belief is that it is the charge pump then how can i test it before splitting the tractor? some more back ground. i bought it used 8 years ago and i always use the UTD2 oil. any and all help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance
