Good morning all, new to the forum here!
I have a B1750 HST 2WD I’ve owned for a few years and mainly use for running a blade down the driveway.
I do have the RC60-B MMM for it and have used it many times when the zero turn went down.
I tried to use it the other day and the PTO will not engage, just grinds when trying to engage.

It will run fine if engaged before starting. I keep it well greased, fluid levels are good. I just put the MMM back on as I sharpened the blades, new belt, gear box fluid etc.

I did notice however when the clutch is depressed, the tractor will still move when you press the forward/reverse.

could this be a clutch? Linkage?

I enjoy servicing my own equipment and making repairs but I’ll be honest, I’m only as good as the videos I watch!
Any advice? Things to look for?
I’ll post some pictures this evening.

Thank you in advance!

Figure out how to adjust the clutch linkage. It sounds like the clutch is not releasing 100% so the gears are still being spun even with the pedal down.

If it has been sitting for some time the clutch plate may be stuck to the flywheel. Search for ways to get that unstuck or just try using your blade with the clutch pushed down as you are grading.

Clutch disk is rusted to the flywheel.
Very common on these tractors.
Go out and use it, and use it hard, all the while holding the clutch pedal down.
You could even use a strap to hold the pedal down.
After some time if it won't break free then the only way to fix it is to split the tractor to get it free up.

Than you for the replies! I can’t post a video for some reason..

anyway, when I press the clutch there is a change of noise from idle like something is disengaging..

Also fun fact, when I disconnected the MMM from the PTO, restart and attempt to activate it, it goes in no problem at all.. does this change anything? Or could clutch still be frozen?

You have to post videos somewhere and provide a link here.
