B1400 screaching drivetrain

I have a Kubota B1400 which when driven in 2nd & 3rd gear has a screech similar to a dry clutch bearing in a car. It happens periodically and there is no loss of drive or gear selection. Did a heavy job just before this. Is it normal to have this issue

No not normal.
You'll have to dive deeper into it.
If you take a video and put it on youtube and give us a link to see/hear it, might be able to give you a better idea what's going on.
