This is my first post on this forum.
I recently bought a 1983 B7100 with a B-219 FEL, it needs a little TLC.
I have the manual for the B-219 FEL, it says to use 10W-30W in it or
10W-40W in warmer climates.
My question is what do any of you use today, the information in the manual is 30 years old.
Thanks in advance,
CAE

I have the same tractor, FEL, and manual. A while back I asked the same thing of my local Kubota dealer's service tech. He said to run the same "Kubota rated" hydraulic/transmission oil that I use in the tractor. It's been working great so far. (1+ year)

Thanks for the information, I've got some hoses to replace on the loader and need to clean the filter before I re-fill with oil.

I also have the same FEL and tractor. I rebuilt the loader cylinders and replaced all of the hoses last year, then refilled the system with 10w30. It has been a little stiff this winter until it warms up (my body can relate to that), so thinner oil may be better for the winter. I considered transmission fluid or UDT, but went with the 10w30 since I don't use the FEL that much in the winter.
