Layla and Rudy are my 2 rescue pups!
Rudy is the black one of some kind of wire haired mix. That's him in the back round with the horn chews and in his fort in the leather chair. He is about 3-4.
Layla is in front of the stove and on leash. She is about 2 and gets off leash some during the day but easily distracted by chipmunks, birds or deer. She is a work in progress and learning to respond to commands now she is getting past the puppy stage. We think she is part rough coat jack russell and some healer.
They bring a lot of smiles with their antics and a lot of rough and tumble play inside and out.

Harley! My sister's English Lab. He is not allowed in the kitchen. A few Christmas Holidays ago we sort of forgot about him. He gets a bone at Noon every day if at home. We forgot. Holidays. He is not allowed into the kitchen. We finally noticed him. Image of him patiently waiting for the past hour or so. His front paws did creep into the kitchen. He doesn't bark indoors unless for a good reason. Like when I didn't hear him ring his door bell to get out and pee. Me, bad Uncle.

Geddy hosted/entertained his “nephew,” our daughter and SIL dog for a few days while they visited.

They left a couple hours ago.

It’s exhausting stuff…….he’s sleeping very heavily…..💤

( he doesn’t usually get to sit on the couch…)

My Great Granddaughter would say Geddy looks "dead shoted".

Daughter's Akitas (Father and Son) enjoying their kind of weather.

Us two-legged sorts not so much. 6 inches of heavy wet snow over a layer of ice. Slicker'n a smelt even with my ice spikes on.
