Yep, very good idea. Clever to pull from the front. Will she be able to wrestle her kill around sideways across the back, or do you plan on just letting it hang off the back?

Nice, can see it having many uses. I would increase size of winch if it isnt 3500 lb already.
One buddy uses something like a backboard, like EMT's use.
Strap animal to board and it becomes manageable. The board is a little bit in the way though. 5 feet long.

All she will do is back up to it and use the bar and strap. The bar has a eye bolt in the middle and one on each end. Then all thats to be done is run the straps under and pull them tight. We have used it on some hogs, when you pull the hog up, you can leave the winch hooked to it, all you have to do is store yhe down riggers up.

Maybe I havent had enough coffee this morning, I am confused how it works,, could you put an feed sack of something and show it working, sometimes the simplest things are the hardest to see. Anything that makes it easier is a good thing

Looks like it would be easier to make sled that sits on the back when not in use. After kill, lay sled on ground. Pin it down so it wont move. Use winch or ATV to pull kill up onto sled. Attach sled to ATV and drive away with kill sliding along behind you.

I had a BMW back in the day I bought it off a guy that said he just didnt want to ride any more, a 1975 R90s,, I didnt have it long, I loved the bike but it scared the snot out of me, and to be honest a bike like that is not for a non technical rider like me. Would love to find another one, but now that its a classic,, well you know,,lol
