Aste a15 levers?.

First of all hi to all,
I just bought an aste a15 but it has no manual and all writings are in japanese ...i have a small lever near the seat and i do not know what is it used for and if i try ro move it up or down it seems like stuck ..any help most appreciated ..regards

the upside down V or Y depending on how you look at it is 4wd - the other character is 2wd.

It may have been placed there and not moved for a while. Depress the clutch and allow the tractor to roll just a bit, like a half a meter or so, all the while moving the level to 4wd. See if that will allow it to move.

The strange thing is that it is sitting exactly in the middle and it seems stuck ill try to figure it out and be back with the result thanks 85 hookie

It is funny how come i have 2 of these levers one under the steering and the other near the linkages lever(the one that seems to be stuck) ?..???

maybe......the words say "engaged - disengaged" the other looks like a PTO lever.....

the lever under the steering wheel dis-engages the rear wheel drive. so when turning at the end of a row you can use front wheels only, to pull the tractor around while using a split brake you can minimise the tractors turning circle, but probably maximise turf damage!!
