Anyone use a spring top keep hydraulic hoses safe?

I've been using my new grapple a lot. The other day in the woods I noticed that the hoses get too close to the right cylinder / quick attach plate when fully retracted. This pic is right after I mounted it for the 1st time:

In have since used zip ties to keep the 2 hoses together. What I find is when the grapple is rotated to it's extremes a few times the hose seem to migrate over. My short term solution is a bungee cord that seems to work. I am hoping for a more long term solution.

As you can see in the pic I used a length of strut to mount the connector angle support. My 1st thought is to get a spring, like a 12" gate spring, and mount it vertically centered on the strut. Connecting the top of the spring to the hoses in some fashion would allow them to move as required and then be pulled back to the center.

Has anyone tried this? The other possibility that I'm going to try tomorrow is simply loosening the two strut bolts holding the bracket and then sliding the bracket to the middle. There is a lot of length needed when rotating to the extremes and a lot of movement otherwise I would shorten the hoses some.

Thanks D2Cat, I hadn't thought of mounting it on the grapple but that makes more sense. Just uncouple and everything goes. Don't have to worry about 'disengaging' the hoses from the holder.
I just need to find a stiff enough spring now and start experiments. Thanks for the tip.

Would it help to rotate the 45 degree fittings at the grapple to point to the left rather than the right? That way the hoses would be laid out more like a "U" or "S" instead of a loop.

I actually Just tried to move my grapple hoses yesterday and it would only work with the way the dealer had them. They got caught on the ssqa handles otherwise and they were also short in another direction. Not sure how yours is configured though

These are the pictures I have at hand. The grapple fittings are 90's and point left. They come out on the right side of the grapple, the same for the disconnect. The hoses are wrapped in a plastic protector.
