I'm looking for the fitting in the attached picture if anyone is parting out an L260 or possibly similar tractor. It is the fitting that the RPM cable attaches to on the engine. It is part of part # 31220-34662.
If anyone has one they're willing to sell, please let me know!

Thanks!

Mike

I got a part from one of the big salvage yards either out west or down south. Hope one find one-hope I don't need any. Like my 260 though.

There's also a member here who has various part, usually for older tractor. I think he is "007Kubotaguy". Might do a search here on the form and send him a private message or email.

Well, I ended up being able to solder it back together today. Now it turns out that the inner cable is broke! Go figure. I'll have to pull the gauge & see if it's froze up now.
Thanks for the help so far!

If that setup is the same (looks very similar to my l1500) you might want to check and make sure the inside metal peice that turns in the cam is not broke. If you don’t see anything spinning in the hole with the engine on it’s broke.

This is what mine looked (click the link the thread image won’t show the image I’m referring to):

My neighbor was kind enough to weld a flat tip screw driver on the end and then I filed it down to fit proper.

Thanks for the pointer Mike. I did check it & it is spinning fine, luckily! The gauge itself seems to work too, so hopefully it's just the cable now.
