I almost bought a Curtis hard cab for my L47 last year but the economy changed my mind. $10 k is a little steepo_O

Now I'm thinking about a soft cab. Does anyone have experience with them? Are the windshields glass?
I'd appreciate your advice.

I'm in the midst of installing a Curtis soft cab on my LX2610.
My nephew and I were commenting on the fitment and quality of the parts.
Windshield is glass and it opens out (pushes forward).
I bought the backhoe adapter kit and it's a slick design.
The cab roof pops open for more headroom with extra ventilation as a bonus.
We're getting to the heater installation but it looks well thought out.
Coolant output from the engine thermostat housing and return to the lower radiator hose.
Supplied with a specially formed tee for the return hose connection.
The only option I went with was the side mirror kit.
Kit, mirrors, sales tax and freight came to$4500.
Not cheap but when I'm out there clearing snow I'm sure I'll feel like it was worth every penny.
We've fabbed a lot of stuff. I put a Z482 Kubota diesel into an old Struck dozer. Converted the belt drive system to hydraulic. Nate stuffed a Z482 into a Honda motorcycle and is now stuffing a D1105 into an old Harley Sportster frame.
We've got a Bridgeport mill, 14" Pratt & Whitney lathe, mig, tig and stick welders, etc. so I'm sure we could have built an enclosure but it wouldn't have been anywhere near as nice as the Curtis Cab.

Thank you for the information. I like the glass windshield.
It looks like Curtis only makes the hard cabs for the L47.

WOW!! I was going to check on getting one for my 'bota but wow!! I bought an AC 190XT with cab and huge snowblower for less than half of that. Actually paid less for it than the price of putting a front snowblower on my 2370. Love my kabota but.... not going to sell the house to put accessories on i!
