Anyone line-x their weight box?

Took delivery of the new B2920 with lots of goodies. need some additional weight in the back have methanol filled R4's but still bounce with the grapple full of pine logs. I'm a bird hunter and have thought about shot bags, but sand seems to be the concensus. I don't want to fight rust so i'm thinking of line-x ing th box. Anyone else do it? What say you?

Mine is filled with concrete, it will outlast me and other generations to follow.

I have never heard of anyone doing that and while I don't think that would be a problem just don't block any weep holes in the box. Sand is always good or cement, but that's hard to get out if you have to. Even if it rusts inside most likely it will out live most of us inhere anyway
And the only birds we have here are those damned vermin turkeys, havent seem a wild pheasant, since I was a kid and the stocked ones ,well ya might as well shoot a chicken,,lol

As to density, when dry sand or gravel will have the same unit density. To prevent corrosion due to dampness, that is more likely in sand, look for washed rock.
