How could you see what color the fluid in the jug was?

Cap denotes color. On jugs that cannot see into At least been my experience.

I have never seen any color other than a black cap on a jug of Kubota antifreeze with a foil seal beneath the cap.

Last time at the dealer they had new stock in translucent jugs clearly Kubota branded product and obviously visible as pink coolant. When I asked it was explained that Kubota branded coolant (even though green) was not the old standard type green coolant so they changed the dye color and packaging to avoid confusion.

Kubota has not used IAT engine coolant of any color in decades and IAT ceased to be the "standard" about the same time. Extended life coolant has it beat in all regards.

This is what the dealer told me as well. They said the packaging and color change was to prevent confusion as people only saw "green" and figured it was plain ol standard green. And were either topping off and or filling with the wrong stuff.
