Adjust Neutral Position on Forward/Reverse Lever

My L2800 lost most of the speed in forward; not in reverse. I was lucky enough to stumble upon the problem. There was a bushing that had come off a rocker above the transmission. You can see it in the pic below. I fixed the problems shown there. I had taken the damper off the linkage below the floorboard and I had moved the linkage positions around there also. Once I got everything back on, I went to check how it worked and found something else. When the foot lever is in the neutral position, the transmission is still in reverse. Can anyone help me with how to adjust the foot lever to be in neutral and the transmission in neutral? I haven't been able to fix this problem yet.

Thats yoir real problem and why you jave reduced forward speed.. Something in the HST valve linlage is damaged or out of adjustment. Should be doumented in the WSM.

The WSM has all the info you need to fix / adjust it.

Look at the envelope top right of your screen. ;)
