Hey guys. Has anyone added a tachometer to a BX1830? I don't like not knowing my rpm's when mowing or even running the machine wide open for loader projects. Any help is appreciated!

I installed this tach on a BX23 and it works quite well. Install requires a bit of knowledge for wiring, pretty simple. The hall effect sensor needs to be set up close to the flywheel or other rotating engine part. Search Ebay for Hall effect tachometer. They sell for about 12 bucks.

Thanks! I have looked into the Hall Effect sensors and that's more than likely the direction I'll go. I was hoping that there was an oem route I could go or possibly a less invasive install. I appreciate your response!!
