Hello, I'm working on adding a hydraulic thumb to my BH90 backhoe. In researching I have found that the BH90 and the BH92 appear to use the same control valve (Kubota Part # 7K500-63010 ). since the BH92 has an option for the thumb I'm assuming that the same add on valve assembly (part# 7K523-8510-0) for the BH92 will work on my BH90? my question is does anyone know who manufactures that add on valve, or is there another source besides Kubota? I've looked into adding a diverter valve but think it would be a lot cleaner to do it with the valve assembly option if i can source something more reasonably priced!

Look closely for tags or stamps on your valve. Several companies make sectional valves. I can tell you it's not a Husco 5000 or 6000 series, they only have 3 tie rods.

On my BX22 the valves were made by Parker, however, Kubota had Parker modify the valves so they were proprietary valves only sold to Kubota and no parts were available from Parker. The Parker dealer tried to figure out what was modified to get me the one part that I needed, but couldn't source the part. That meant that the whole valve was junk since Kubota discontinued the valve.
