Nothing fancy. Made a cardboard template to cut out a piece of expanded metal for added grill protection. I found the red edging on Amazon and it blends well with Kubota orange. I left it short enough o be able to open the grill guard back so the hood can still be opened. I am probably going to make a smaller piece to cover the bottom section.

I like it. Great job. Are you going to attach it is a different way than zip ties?

You have added no weight, you are no blocking air flow or lights, simple quick, love it.

I'm still thinking on the mounting.

A better more permanent mount would be some cross bars that would support id and bolt it in place but I will probably just replace the zip ties with stainless straps since I have some. It's not hindering opening of the hood so I won't have any need to remove it. I might even just use the heavier 100 lb plastic straps.

It is cut a little oversize so if anything hits it it should still add some protection before collapsing.

Like I said, still thinking. ;)

Nice job!

I made a couple of these to clamp mine on with.

Pretty simple, yet very sturdy.

I did not like the idea of drilling into my new (at the time) tractor.

Used an old “inner tube” between them to prevent “chaffing”.

Finished up the lower part today and secured it a little better. I had some stainless bolts and fender washers. I just bent the edge of the fender washers over to grab the edge and tightened the bolts down.

How's the grip? They look a bit rounded like AG tires, how are they on the lawn? Do you run them a little low or max PSI?

I am running them around 10-12 psi. They ride rough. My rears are filled. If I had bought the tractor new I would have ordered it with turfs.
