2017 F-350 Super Duty 6.7L with 892,000 miles on the original engine and 922,832 miles overall. He also has a 2011 Super Duty with 725,000 miles on it.
I've been a Ford fan for decades ever since my brother gave me his Ford Fiesta when I first moved to the US. I've owned lots of Fords over the years, and when it comes to trucks I don't really look that closely at other brands. Fords have worked really well for me, particularly the Super Duty models having owned an '02 F-350 XLT 7.3L and the two I currently have which include an '02 F-250 Lariat 7.3L and a '24 F-450 Lariat 6.7L HO. I've owned three Rangers, an F-150, a Mustang SVT Cobra, SVT Contour, Thunderbird SC and an Explorer, but it's the Super Duty models that have impressed me the most and that continue to impress me.
This video popped up in my YouTube feed the other day and it was interesting for sure. Just goes to show that proper maintenance (in combination with how a truck is used) can make a difference despite all those that constantly put down newer diesel trucks.
