Not sure what you plan on doing with it. . . without scarifiers it's just going to ride on top of your dry clay. If that box fills I don't think you will have enough grunt to pull it.
I have a 6' box blade on my L3800 and when its full its a real load.

My mistake, I thought you were selling it sorry. Yes, clay needs to be wet/soaked or break it up with the teeth.

I don’t know the precise makeup of the clay you have so take this with a grain of salt, but if you try boxblading wet clay and find it to be difficult and unproductive, don’t be surprised and try it again with rippers when dry.

And I run a 550lb BB1572 on a L4701 mostly in red clay and gravel road. Probably hardest I’ve run it was ripping up the road bed reshaping the 30 year old rock road that hadn’t been touched since it was put in. The L4701 seems to be a good match for the 1572. Was able to it with rippers full down, blade cutting aggressively, and box full in the 30 year packed roadbed. Can do same with the clay when dry with no issue but can’t say it isn’t grunting a bit doing it. You might do OK with less HP by skipping one of the three: just don’t rip, cut, and fill the box all at the same time. Or maybe you can.

This small tractor is new to me just sold my old Ford 3500 and it would pull a 6 foot box full unless it was up a grade(which our property is) then the wheels would just spin. You kinda answered my question they have the power not the heft to do the bigger job. thanks

When wet here in So. Cal. "rare" I use my angle blade to fix and crown the dirt/gravel roads, if you do it dry it is just a dust bowl till the next moister which could be a long time:(.

I think it all depends on what you are doing.

My B2910 is the same tractor as your B7800, with some deluxe features.

I can stop the tractor with rear wheels spinning, with my 60" box blade. I have loaded tires. It all depends on how aggressive you are with the box blade.

With top and tilt, you can easily get pretty aggressive with the box blade, but you can recover just as easily when trying to do too much.

If you are not aggressive I guess a 72" box blade will work for you...for me, the 60" is wider than my tires and I would not trade it for a wider one.

I was given a 7' heavy as heck box blade. I have no problem pulling a full load of caliche up a grade. Lower the scarifiers and dig into rock hard caliche, no problem.
What tractor, an old 640 Ford with almost the same HP as the Kubota you are using.
