New here with a problem: I have a G1800 with a rusty deck that is barely worth patching and have been lookign for a good replacement but all the decks I have seen are for PTO shaft comin gin from the rear of deck, mine is from the front. mine is a RC54-G20 model , most of the ones I've seen are RCK54-23BX. it looks to me like the gearbox could be rotated 180 degrees and if this is possible I could use one of these decks. I woudl love to buy a shell and use all my parts on it, but since thats not an option I have to find one. I'm new to the 4wheel steer and love it. I'm trying to be pre emptive here before my deck tears itself apart .......................... thanks in advance. this is a pic of the deck i'm looking at it doesn't seen as heavy built as mine but isn't rotten. this is the rck54-23bx

Hey- a fellow G1900s owner!
Sorry I can't answer your question but I have a similar, albeit it simpler question. Mine has the Rc48-g20 deck and I'm wondering if the Rck48 deck off of a G18, G2160 would be a direct fit?

*G1800s but let's not split hairs! 😂
I'm not sure about that, but I think the RC 48 are all the same other than the bagger attachment brackets. have my eye on a 60" deck from a g2160 with a bagger that looks minty> owner is away on holidays > patiently waiting until he gets home. an RC 60" deck would give me about a 2" circle but wouldn't fit between my tree line and fence. (almost a zero turn)

Something to consider is the direction of rotation of the PTO shaft to avoid the blades spinning backwards.
This one appears to have the blades run CCW by design:
