I'm going to add lifting hooks to my loader, was looking at the top rail of the loader and to say the least, it looks like it could use some reinforcing, pretty thin material to be pulling on. Any thoughts ? I have a new L3800 dt tractor I'm lifting with. Also, any ideas on hooks, weld on or bolt on, and placement, center and at each cylinder ? Any help is appreciated.

Have you done a search? There have been tons of posts on here on this subject, with LOTS of photos. There are many opinions, many ways of skinning the cat, and I don't think I've read a post yet where someone has ripped a hook off or seriously damaged a bucket. I would agree that reinforcing is a good idea, but even the method varies, and seems to work fine.
