Hi All,
I just picked up a used 4690 backhoe for my mx5100. I see there is a top link reinforcment kit available for tractors up the l4300 but nothing any larger. Does anyone know if it is required? Also the three point hitch limiter looks to be almost 1 1/2 feet to short as compared to where it goes in the illustrations in the 4690 manual? Any first hand info available ?
Thanks,
Walter F

The reason your having issues is the BL4690 that was never designed to go on an M or MX, Hence the B and L on the front of the number.
The MX5100 takes a BH90A or a BH92 (BH backhoe).

You can possibly make it work, you will just have to make all your own connecting parts. ;)
