Have had my MX4800 for a couple of weeks now, it has 35.1 hours and I have not had a regen yet. I have been reading the forum and everyone seems to have a regen between 15 and 30 hours.

I run it between 2100 and 2600 RPM, varying it often as it is brandy new, and only idle it for a few minutes on start up and shut down.

Anyone else have this long of a time on a regen?

If I remember correctly, and that gets harder and harder as I get older :) my L3560 had 43 hours on it for its' first.

Sounds like you are just running it right to me.

Does your machine have a % display on it that tells you how loaded up it is like the Grand L series?

Thanks Ted. No, only display is a little indicator that (I assume) is lit during the regen.

When mine happened I was out plowing snow and if I hadn't been keeping my eye on the % bar and known it was at 99% I wouldn't have even known it was happening. There was an indication on the LED display, but I couldn't tell by the actions/performance of the tractor that it was doing a regen. I was already running high enough RPM that it didn't tell me to increase. Easy pezy and painless.

Same with my L3560. Just had my first regen this week at 35 hours. It was a non-event. The first one is the one I was nervous about because based on what I have been reading, if you get past the first one without any real issues, then it seems the system is working/set-up properly and should be trouble free after that.

The anxiety created by these non-events is the biggest problem (other than the real issues with the B3350).

My MX5200 turned 75 hours this past weekend and had its 3rd regen.
I do have a bunch of lower rpm time on mine due to what I'm doing with the loader.

You've probably had one and didn't know it. Unless I'm at lower RPMs with my MX5200 and the increase RPM light flashes I don't know it's in regen unless I smell it or happen to see the light.

they way i understand the only time you need a regen is when the filter canister becomes clogged. based on your description your tractor is hot enough to keep that filter from getting clogged up.

Well! Yesterday at 44.2 The regen light came on. I kept on working at 2200 RPM and no problems. The engine sounded slightly different but other than that and the light no change in the way she operated.

Thanks everyone for the input.
