Good Morning to all, I lurked here for a little while prior to buying my b7001 a couple of days ago, it was a little rough but had most all the implements I needed, loader, tiller & box blade.
It was making a whine noise in 3h (6th?), thought it may be bearing noise as the right rear axle seal appears to be leaking & thought it may have been run a little low.
Got it home & unloaded, did some tilling & now I get a stripping gear noise taking off in 3H, I used to be an auto tech years ago but haven't taken any tractor cases apart, could excessive bearing play allow the gears to bypass & make the stripping noise?
