So I have a Kubota M4 and I am having a hard time hooking up my disc mower. It is a HM235 New Holland and I can’t level it. I have the top link adjusted all the way out and the mower is still tilted forward. The Massey I traded in on the M4 I didn’t have a problem with. The chain that holds the mower so it will float is about 8” short of hooking up.

I think Jay gave the necessary reply. If your knives are tilted forward and you want to level them you have to get the top of the 3pt. moved back. That requires a longer top link.

Thanks guys - thought so too, but you beat me to it.

To the OP, I would NOT get a Kubota replacement top link - - go to any farm store and get one for half the price that will work better - - just my opinion.

I'd remove current top link, position tractor and implement in the 'working' position, then measure 'hole to hole' distance, write it down, twice, TWO pieces of paper..THEN go buy another toplink.

Agree with others, you need a longer toplink. Looking at your first picture with it fully extended, it looks like it’s still forward of the lift arms. If that’s the case, that’s the wrong toplink for the tractor and isn’t going to work with much of anything. Fully extended the toplink should be at least a little past even with the lower arms.

If you bought it as is, follow GreensvilleJay’s advice to measure it and get a toplink that you know will fit the mower.

If you bought it new or from a dealer that represented it to be set up correctly, I’d get with them to swap that too short toplink for one that fits your tractor. Worst case they tell you no and you’re back to buying one from a farm supply, but whoever sold you the tractor sold you the wrong toplink.

Yep she is brand new has about 20 hours on it. I’ll call them in the morning anyone know the size for a M4?

Just measure the one you have, fully extended and then as short as it goes. Make sure you get one longer. The dealer should know what you need from those dimensions.

Put it in the bottom hole? It is in the middle now
That's why there are three holes for the top link! It will improve the leveling situation, but does change the raise/lower behavior and you would need to adjust the stops on the raise/lower handle.
As others say, it might be easier to just get a longer top link at your local ag supply store, particularly if this is the only attachment having this issue.
