Hi i recently purchased a used kubota tractor. 3000DT model. i am needing to add some hydraulic fluid but am having trouble finding information on where to add the fluid, how much to add, and what type of fluid to add. if someone could please fill me in on this particular model that would be very helpful. It should have a site glass on the left side of the transmission between the clutch pedal and the seat. The fill port is on top of the transmission hump behind the shifter. Mine has a red cap with a vent on top that you screw out to fill. I use Amsoil synthetic tractor trans/hyd fluid but Kubota SUDT or SUDT2 would be a good choice. I do not advise using cheap hyd fluid if you want your hydraulic system to perform as it should.
