Shortly after replacing a FEL hose (and the lost fluid (Napa Hyd Fld)) my three point unit started 'hunting'.

When the 'lowering speed control' is in the 'lock' position the implement stays up.
When it is in a normal position the implement sags enough to cause it to raise again within a second or two.

I'm supposing that crud has damaged the control assembly. Does this seem reasonable? Would re o-ringing the spool assemblies cure this condition? Is this something that can be done by a reasonably competent person?

Thanks, Daron

Daron - I'm just swingin' for the fences, but I'm guessing its the feedback control rod needing adjustment. It can be as simple as loosening locknuts, shortening/lengthening the rod linkeage with nuts or shackle, then retighten the locknuts.

Again, I'm guessing from reading similar symptoms here over the last couple years. No experience myself.

I have no familiarity with your tractor, but if you get a workshop manual (WSM), it should give you details.

There are many here:

One of moderators, Coachgeo wisely put this "Sticky" at the top of this forum page regarding manuals, parts schematics, etc.:

Also, a google search for feedback rod adjustment, with your model, might help as well.

Good Luck! Wish I could be of better help.

Did it work properly prior to the fluid loss/addition? If so, I doubt it is in the controls. How much fluid did you lose, and then add? It's possible that there is still air in the system, which can take time to work out.

Thanks, Hodge. I skipped over the broken hose part altogether.

You theory makes a lot more sense.
