I wonder if anyone has any experience with these 3 point pallet forks for my L3200:

These are only $160. I realize it is totally different than having a real set of forks on my loader but I'd probably be looking at upwards of $7-800 for a set of decent forks. Maybe someday...

My immediate need is that I'm having about 20 panels (8' wide x 6' high) weighing about 240lb each delivered to make my 50' diameter round pen. I figure that I could slide the panels off one by one onto the forks, deliver them to the location where they could be staged to stand them up and then go back for another panel (or 2 or 3). Does this sound like something I could do with this attachment?

After this use, I'm sure I could leave a pallet on the forks and use it as carry-all around my 20 acre horse farm.

Any ideas or suggestions on using this type of implement or this one in particular?

Picture that setup with 2x2 square tubes in place of forks. I built this as a way to move pallets. Also welded a third tube in centre to accept trailer hitch.
As far as forking around goes, i figure my L1501 carried near 600 lbs without much trouble.

Never realized how useful something like that could be.
My forks are removeable, in fact i can reverse them and they dont interfere with anything under tractor .

We've got a couple of old mixed breed guys, probably mostly Quarterhorses, an authentic Chincoteague pony who won the pony swim up there in Virginia, my Christmas present (see the picture - an ass for an ass?) :D and two real nice registered Quarterhorses with trainers in Texas and Florida. My daughter shows them nationally. We hope to do some breeding during our "Golden years."

By the way, I go through Washington, PA all the time up to my wife's family in Pittsburgh. I went to Pitt where I met her long ago.

I think a set of bucket forks would be much more useful since you have a loader. I have a set of clamp on forks and love them for all kinds of work. Being able to load/unload from the back of a pickup for instance, you can't do that with a 3 point mount. Hauling long things like logs or gates in your case, they are going to drag and get pulled right off of the rear forks unless you have very flat ground. About the only advantage of a 3 point setup I can think of is the weight capacity.
