Hi, all….I inherited my dad’s L2900. Runs great, does everything I want pretty much. One thing though - the three point lever by my right hip seems to vibrate down after a minute or two. i want it at setting 4, for example, to keep my implement at a certain height..but invariably, it sinks down to zero in short order. There is a nut kinda thing that you can tighten down in front of the lever, but I’d like to put the lever at 4 and it STAY there. is there something underneath that needs to be tightened somehow to stiffen up the 3-point lever mechanism? Or is that just the way it is? I have the 3-point lowering wheel between my legs turned so it sinks slowly.
Thanks in advance…

Follow the lever down to the transmission. Should be a nut with some washers, tighten the nut a bit.

My MX5100 has double nuts loosen the lock nut and adjust to the smoothness and holding ability you desire.
