I'm having trouble locating the spline marks and the elevating arm locations on my 3 point hitch. (L3710 HST) The service manual tells you to line up the marks on the shaft and internal pivit arm that gotes to the piston. Darn if I can find the alignment marks. Any idea so I don't have to remove it a variety of times to get it right. The piston rod actuator shaft and the internal lift arm has to be in the correct location to get proper lift arm movement. Dealer mechanics we of no help. Thanks in advance. Steve

yup you mark that stuff before disassembly

there's supposed to be a thin line basically scratched into the shaft. some used a punch mark. others were double splined so they only line up one way

i have seen a few that didn't have marks, thus you mark them yourself before taking stuff apart
